Setting up Students in the Tuition List
Before you start setting up your tuition section, you will need to make sure that all your tutors are on the MSM system under the contacts. All contacts that have been assigned to the group of Conductors and Tutors will be in the dropdown list available to assign to tuition lessons.You can see more details on setting up your contacts under the Contacts Help section.
Step 1 - Create your Student Tuition List
To create the list of students who will be doing tuition, you will need to add them to the tuition section. To do this you will need to follow the following steps:

Go to 'Ensembles' --> 'All Students'

Filter the list of students to get your students who need to be added to the lessons e.g. by filtering by instrument, class etc.

Once you have all the students in the list, make sure they are all ticked in the box next to the student name. You can use the top tick box next to the column headings to select or unselect all the students in the list

Click the 'Add to Tuition' button

Select the Tutor and Instrument from the dropdown list to assign the students
- If you know the tuition group that you are assigning the students to, you can then click the 'Add Selected Students to a Group' button which will then allow you to select the group to add them to
- Select the group if it is already in the list or start typing the name of the new group that you want to create in the textbox. When you start typing, a 'Create' button appears which allows you to create the new group and assign the students to this group. Click the 'Save' button.
- This can be done multiple times for each group of students

If you would just like to add the students to the tuition list now and then assign them to groups later, don't tick the 'Add Selected Students to a Group' option and just click 'Save' to assign the students to the list.
